Pumpkin Button Art and Buttons Galore Giveaway
Fall always gets me in the crafting mood, so today, I'll share a cute pumpkin I made that will be perfect to set on a table or hang on a wall. The giveaway for some great buttons to make your own creations is at the bottom of this post!
To make your own picture, you'll need:
-2 totes Cornucopia (orange, brown, green) buttons from Buttons Galore (You will have plenty of buttons left over for more projects, but 2 packs give you the correct sizes and colors for this project.)
-1 pack Falling Leaves buttons from Buttons Galore
-stretched canvas or wood board
-green burlap
-Elmer's multi purpose spray adhesive
-1 piece orange felt
-1 pack glittered felt leaves (I got mine from Hobby Lobby)
-1 pack orange rick rack
-hot glue gun and glue sticks
-scissors
1. Cut pumpkin shape out of orange felt. The pattern below is the shape I used. Enlarge it to any size you wish. Mine is about 5 3/4 inches long by 8 inches wide
2. Spray canvas with spray adhesive to attach green burlap. Apply hot glue to the back if needed to hold. Then hot glue pumpkin to center of canvas. Glue buttons around the felt to form the shape and details of the pumpkin.
3. Scatter button leaves around base of pumpkin and glue to secure.
4. Glue rick rack around edges to make a border. Apply glittered leaves in the corners of the picture. Now your new art is ready to be enjoyed!
