"Tree My Ears"

The Nice Lady loves the holidays just like everybody else. She especially loves Christmas trees. She likes decorating trees... and wearing trees on her ears. That's what inspired her to make this pair.

She crafted them with 16 g wire and dangled them from copper ear wires. They measure 2 inches long and 5/8 inch wide.

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas! These earrings would be a great stocking stuffer. I have hand wire wrapped these dark green quartz faceted briolettes with smooth red garnet beads with silver filled wire. They are hung on some ear wires that I have hand forged from 18 gauge silver filled wire. I love this silver filled wire for 2 reasons 1. Crafty jewelry: crocheted earrings

Yesterday in a post I shared with you how to make a pillow case dress/skirt.  Fabulous right, so many cute ways to wear it, and so inexpensive and easy to make.  Well in the pics I shared yesterday you may have spotted these pretty earrings.  I am so thrilled with how these turned out.  So cute and again easy.  All you need to do is be able to do a basic crochet chain that's it.

What you will need:

Yarn
Crochet Needle
Felt
Hot Glue
Earring Findings
Faux Pearl Beads
Scissors
Wire Cutters & Needle Nose Pliers

Earring Findings Pieces I used.

Crochet two chains the same length.  Roll them up like you were making a coiled snake.  Take a small piece of felt preferable a color similar to your yarn and put some hot glue down.  Place your earring binding down that you have already added two pearls to, on the hot glue and cover with your  rolled crochet yarn.  Trim off excess felt.  Decorate with another pearl if you like in center of crocheted flower.   That's it.
